Combatting forest invasive species in Europe and Central Asia is often hampered by a lack of information and its dissemination. In response to the identified need for a network where scientists, managers and policy-makers can share information and experiences and coordinate forest invasive species activities and programmes within the region and beyond, the Forest Invasive Species Network for Europe and Central Asia (REUFIS) has been created.
